Errol Doebler

Former Navy SEAL · FBI Special Agent · Founder of Ice Cold Leader

Errol Doebler is a former Navy SEAL and FBI Special Agent. A 1991 graduate of the United States Naval Academy, he served as a platoon commander at SEAL Team ONE before joining the FBI, where he investigated international terrorist organizations out of the Bureau’s New York office and served on its New York SWAT team. Today he is the founder of Ice Cold Leader, a leadership consulting firm, and the author of Ice Cold Leader: Leading from the Inside Out.

For nearly twenty years, Errol carried an undiagnosed traumatic brain injury from his time as a SEAL. When he was finally diagnosed, a doctor told him the part of his brain responsible for processing emotions had gone dormant. His path back began with the breath. Errol immersed himself in the science of breathwork and trained as a Wim Hof Method instructor — and the practice became central to his recovery, drastically improving the outcome of his injury and giving him a daily tool to meet stress with calm and clarity.

The sessions in this app are the breathing practices Errol lives by and teaches — a way to find your breath, steady your mind, and lead from the inside out.

Ice Cold Leader: Leading from the Inside Out

Breathe safely

These sessions use deep, active breathing that can leave you lightheaded and, in rare cases, cause fainting. A few simple rules keep the practice safe:

  • Never in or near water. No baths, pools, or open water — fainting while breathing can be fatal.
  • Never while driving or operating machinery.
  • Sit or lie down somewhere comfortable and safe — never standing.
  • Ease off if you feel unwell. Some tingling is normal; if you feel faint, simply return to gentle, normal breathing.
  • Check with your doctor first if you are pregnant or have epilepsy, a heart condition, high blood pressure, or a history of fainting.

This app supports general wellbeing and is not medical advice. You practice at your own risk.
